Clients count on me to sweat the small stuff. My attention to the details in every case allows me to understand the core issues of a dispute. With both an understanding of the legal issues and a firm grasp of my clients’ goals, I am able to effectively act as a tenacious advocate on behalf of clients at all stages of litigation.
As a litigation associate at Carrington Coleman, Stephanie represents clients in commercial disputes in state and federal courts and regularly represents creditors in bankruptcy cases.
Prior to joining Carrington Coleman, Stephanie clerked for Chief Judge Christopher J. Panos in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts where she gained invaluable behind-the-scenes insight and prepared for hundreds of hearings on bankruptcy and related adversary proceeding issues, including sales under section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code, and disputes regarding ownership of property, discovery, intellectual property, secured lending, and evidence. This experience laid the foundation for Stephanie to confidently and comfortably advocate for the firm’s clients in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts.
Stephanie plays an active role in all phases of litigation and her experience includes taking depositions, drafting and arguing motions in breach of contract and trade secrets cases, and representing creditors in bankruptcy courts in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
