Laura Caston

Laura’s practice is focused on complex family law matters, including high net worth divorces, contested suits affecting parent-child relationships, property agreements, and post-trial matters such enforcements and modifications. She is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star, Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” in America, and was featured in D Magazine’s 2025 Best Lawyers in Dallas. LaCrecia Perkins

LaCrecia is a member of Carrington Coleman’s Business Litigation Practice Group. She represents businesses and individuals in a variety of industries and practices in both state and federal courts. After law school, LaCrecia served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Renée Harris Toliver, United States District Court Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Texas.

LaCrecia Perkins is a real estate lawyer that assists property owners and property interest holders alike in navigating through complex litigation. She helps her clients navigate a wide variety of real estate issues involving purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, property management agreements, and other real estate contracts. Chris Anaya

Chris Anaya works closely with clients to find effective business solutions to complex business disputes. Through his construction practice, Chris offers clients the full range of services from strategic counsel on transactional matters and project planning to resolving often complex disputes through negotiation, arbitration, or litigation. His extensive construction experience includes representing owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in transactional and litigation matters involving contract negotiations, lien and payment bond issues, construction defects, professional liability for design professionals, as well as many other contract disputes.

As part of the commercial litigation practice group, Chris works with a range of business clients including regional and national corporations in telecommunications, agriculture, real estate, and finance industries, to resolve conflicts efficiently and effectively through pre litigation negotiations, litigation, arbitration, appeals, and alternative dispute resolution.

Chris graduated, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He received his Bachelor’s degree with high honors in Government with a minor in Philosophy from New Mexico State University. After graduating from law school, Chris clerked for the Honorable Justice Richard C. Bosson of the New Mexico Supreme Court.

Jennifer Larson Ryback

Inspired by the Good, Better, Best poem she learned from her grandmother growing up, Jennifer is focused on helping her clients be the “good, better, best” they can be, whether that’s thinking ahead to prevent an issue, negotiating a resolution to a dispute, or bringing or defending a lawsuit.

Jennifer’s clients think of her as a problem solver, and she excels at helping clients navigate complicated issues, avoiding litigation when possible and helping her clients navigate in court or arbitration when necessary. Throughout the course of her career, Jennifer has handled many types of litigation, including defending employers against wrongful termination and wage claims, pursuing and defending breach of contract cases, bringing and defending claims related to construction defects and construction project payment issues, and handling a variety of disputes related to commercial real estate transactions. She also routinely advises clients on non-litigation employment law issues, including developing and updating employee handbooks, conducting investigations related to alleged employee misconduct, providing training to prevent discrimination and harassment in the workplace, and negotiating executive compensation and severance agreements.

Katie Anderson

Katie Anderson provides legal solutions for public and private educational institutions and governmental entities, including housing authorities and cities, through counseling and litigation.

Katie assists schools with employment matters such as employee leave, discrimination, grievances, investigations, discipline, and terminations. Her work with school districts and their boards encompasses board fiduciary duties and governance as well as the myriad of laws that influence their activities, including the Texas Public Information Act, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Texas Open Meetings Act, federal and State Constitutions, and more.

Katie supports housing authorities and municipalities in navigating a broad range of local, state, and federal fair housing and anti-discrimination laws, including the Fair Housing Act.
