Alexander M. Breaux

I believe the most effective legal strategies are grounded not only in the law, but in understanding a client’s business and goals. I like digging deep into the facts, understanding how the technical pieces fit together, and turning complex issues into clear, practical arguments. Clients appreciate that I am thoughtful, prepared, and strategic, and that I tailor my approach to their objectives–whether that means helping resolve a dispute before litigation, positioning a case effectively for mediation, developing the right record through discovery, or preparing for trial when necessary.

What I find most meaningful about practicing law is helping clients navigate challenges with steady judgment, disciplined preparation, and a practical, solution-oriented perspective.

Alex Breaux represents clients in complex commercial disputes in state and federal court. His practice includes construction, real estate, energy, environmental, land-use, toxic-tort, products-liability, and other business litigation. He handles all phases of litigation, including dispositive and evidentiary briefing, discovery strategy, witness preparation, depositions, expert development, and trial preparation.

Before practicing law, Alex worked as an environmental geologist and project manager, which gives him a practical, technically grounded perspective in matters involving complex records and expert-driven issues.

Brandon L. Hurwitz

My practice is built on relationships and grounded in trust. I don’t take for granted the confidence clients place in me when they invite me into their business decisions — often some of the most important they’ll ever make. I believe good counsel starts with perspective. My job is not only to get the deal done, but to help clients keep sight of what really matters — the big picture behind the transaction. I’m at my best when I can bring clarity to complexity, help steady the room, and remind everyone what success actually looks like.

Brandon Hurwitz represents businesses and entrepreneurs in a wide range of transactional matters, with a practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, financing, and general commercial matters. His work includes structuring and negotiating business acquisitions and sales, preparing and reviewing complex operating and purchase agreements, and advising clients on entity formation, governance, and succession planning.

Brandon’s practice is relationship-driven and grounded in a holistic understanding of each client’s true business and personal goals. He serves as a trusted advisor to companies, helping them navigate both high-stakes strategic transactions and everyday commercial needs. Thus, in addition to major deals, Brandon regularly provides counsel on ongoing business relationships, vendor and service agreements, licensing arrangements, and other commercial contracts essential to his clients’ operations.

For his clients involved in real estate, Brandon regularly assists with setting up entity structures and joint ventures, negotiating purchase and sale agreements and leases, and coordinating development from the ground up.

By combining practical business insight with a focus on long-term relationships, Brandon delivers advice that is not only legally sound but strategically aligned with each client’s broader objectives and vision for growth.
