Exempt Organizations

At Carrington Coleman, we are committed to giving back to the community. We have helped organize local chapters of the Make a Wish Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and US Lacrosse, to name a few, but have also helped form local organizations such as the Parkinson Voice Project, Bridge Steps, the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance, animal rescue organizations, local churches, and Buddhist and Hindu temples. We represent such organizations with initial organization and obtaining tax exempt status and also with contracts, employment agreements, joint ventures and mergers with other exempt entities. Sometimes an organization has non-charitable exempt purposes, such as a business league or social welfare organization, that does not seek Section 501(c)(3) status and we are able to help in the formation and ongoing legal needs of those organizations as well.
