Monica Latin and Cathy Altman Named to 2026 Lawdragon 500

Monica Latin

One of the nation’s most respected trial and appellate lawyers, Monica’s practice spans a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters, including trials, arbitrations, and appeals. She is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a frequent lecturer on litigation strategy and appellate advocacy. Monica is also a longtime leader within the litigation section of the American Bar Association.

Her work has earned consistent national and regional recognition, including Chambers USA, D CEO Dallas 500, and The Best Lawyers in America, where she has been recognized as Bet-the-Company Litigation Lawyer of the Year. She has also been named among the Top 100 Lawyers in DFW and Top 50 Women Lawyers in Texas, by Texas Super Lawyers.

Cathy Altman

Cathy represents both public and private entities in connection with the construction of large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, airport and rail facilities, energy projects, manufacturing facilities, and commercial developments.

She is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is widely recognized for her work in construction litigation. Her honors include Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America Construction Litigation Lawyer of the Year, National Diversity Council’s Top Women Lawyers in Dallas, and recognition among the Top 100 Lawyers in DFW and Top 50 Women Lawyers in Texas, by Texas Super Lawyers.
