Overview: Carrington Coleman Attorney LaCrecia Perkins was deeply honored to have been a speaker at the dedication ceremony for DHA’s West Dallas headquarters. DHA has expanded its headquarters to better serve the community including residents, landlord partners, and service providers. The newly expanded headquarters will be a place where residents, Housing Choice Voucher families, landlords, and community partners will be able to connect with DHA and advance affordable housing solutions. DHA is the 10th largest public housing agency in the nation and provides housing for more than 55,700 people each day across seven counties in North Texas. This building is a testament to the enduring legacy of former HUD Secretary Alphonso Jackson, whose contributions to affordable housing and urban development have had a profound impact on our community. LaCrecia stood alongside other distinguished guests and community leaders, including Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson, Ken Hersh (President and CEO of the George W. Bush Presidential Center), and Troy Broussard (current DHA President and CEO). Congratulations to DHA and everyone involved in making this vision a reality.
