Carrington Coleman has added an East Texas office located in Longview.  Longview native Rodney Lawson will head up the office.  Rodney is a trial lawyer and also chair of Carrington Coleman’s healthcare practice.  He will spend time in both the Longview and Dallas offices.

“East Texas historically has been a significant region of the state and is an important part of the legal landscape, both locally and nationally,” said Mr. Lawson.  “This is an exciting step for our Firm.  We believe this office gives us an opportunity to work with and serve clients in the area and to play a positive role in the East Texas community.”“Everybody that meets Rodney knows right away that he is from Longview.  He is truly at home in East Texas,” according to Bruce Collins, Managing Partner of Carrington Coleman.  “In addition to Rodney’s depth of knowledge and expertise in the healthcare field, we will be able to serve people in areas like oil and gas, real estate, business transactions and litigation, employment, construction and more.”

“Like any company or organization that opens an office in a new city and genuinely cares about the area and its people, we intend to put our best foot forward,” said Charles Jordan, a member of Carrington Coleman’s Executive Committee.  “Rodney is an ideal person to lead this effort for us.  As we have done with our clients and our community for many years, we will be good neighbors, will look for opportunities to support the community, and will provide the highest level of service to those for whom we work.”

Mr. Lawson added, “This is something I have personally looked forward to for a long time.  East Texas is, and always will be my home, and I believe that we really do have something to offer that will make a positive difference.  From my perspective, this marriage between my extraordinary law firm and my beloved home is a match made in heaven.”

The Carrington Coleman office is located on the 7th floor of the Kilpatrick Life Insurance Building in downtown Longview at 211 E. Tyler St, Suite 706.
