Cara D. Davis Little

Cara Davis Little works with Carrington Coleman’s Construction and Real Estate Litigation practice group. Cara provides counsel and represents varied clients in complex construction and real estate litigation.  She has worked on both sides of the fence, previously defending contractors, engineers, architects, and other professionals on large construction projects, to now, prosecuting those same professionals on behalf of owners and real estate developers.  And because she has seen both sides of the coin, Cara brings a unique perspective to each case, wherein she is able to see the bigger picture and has plenty of creative arguments in her arsenal – ready to be fired!

Cara represents clients in other industries as well, with a focus on labor and employment, professional liability, and commercial litigation. More specifically, Cara has represented employers before state and federal courts concerning alleged discrimination and violations of various employment statutes, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title VII, and the Texas Labor Code.  She has also defended attorneys, insurance agents, and other professionals against malpractice and negligence suits.  Her work includes taking depositions of fact witnesses and plaintiffs, drafting and arguing motions, handling all aspects of discovery, and coordinating with various local and national parties and counsel.
