Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, LLP, has added two more partners and a new practice area as the firm begins the year with more growth and expansion.
Carmen Eiker joins the firm as a Partner, specializing in Family Law. She provides advice, counsel and representation in divorce, child custody, visitation and other family law issues for executives and other successful individuals. A fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Ms. Eiker is Board Certified in both Family Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
She will work in Carrington Coleman’s Family Wealth practice, which provides estate planning and family wealth protection for family offices and individual high-net-worth clients.
“People come to us because they trust us to do outstanding work and maintain the highest degree of confidentiality about their lives and businesses,” says Carrington Coleman Managing Partner Bruce Collins. “Successful business people often encounter unique situations when facing the end of a marriage. We’re in a position to provide the kind of assistance our clients want and need during that difficult time. Carmen is a natural fit.”
At the same time, Carrington Coleman’s Corporate and Real Estate Practices are expanding with the addition of Partner Marc Myrin, who provides middle market real estate, construction, and restaurant companies with assistance in mergers and acquisitions, and real estate development, leasing, and construction matters. Mr. Myrin also represents a number of restaurant clients with liquor licensing matters before the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission.
“Marc is yet another veteran attorney whose addition allows us to continue to strengthen our real estate, corporate and transactional practices,” Mr. Collins says. “Like Carmen, he is someone who truly embraces the philosophy and high standards that have made Carrington Coleman what we are today.”
