The Art of Law

Every endeavor
has its own art, whether it’s hitting
a baseball, writing
a symphony,
or handling a lawsuit. In the
legal arena there’s an art to envisioning solutions where others see problems. It has
to do with understanding how to resolve matters in a way that benefits each client. It has to do with the art of helping clients contain problems and expand opportunities.

Where To Send Your Resume

We seek students with outstanding academic records who demonstrate professionalism, leadership potential, and polished interpersonal skills. We interview students on-campus at approximately 10 law schools, and we welcome write-in resumes from all law schools. We anticipate hiring approximately 8 second-year students and 2 first-year students for our next summer program. We conduct 30-minute on-campus interviews. After the on-campus interviews, we invite students to our office to meet with approximately five attorneys, followed by lunch with two of our attorneys. We provide round-trip airline tickets, hotel accommodations, transportation from the airport, and meals during the student's stay in Dallas. Following the office visit, a summer associate offer may be made to the student. We ask that students spend a minimum of six weeks of the summer clerking with us, beginning in mid-May. We interview first-year students in our office December through February.
